everything you need to know about
a small town Mississippi girl with big dreams, a love for design, and a camera in hand
Hi friend! I’m Amelia, a photographer and designer based in Jackson, Mississippi specializing in fine art wedding and lifestyle portraiture. I love natural light and using the talents the good Lord has given me to slow down time and truly capture the beauty of a moment. I strive to create beautiful images that are classic, natural, and tell the story of your special day.
I was married in 2010 and currently live in Florence, MS with my ruggedly handsome husband, Jonathan, and two sweet boys, Keller and Oliver. When I’m not photographing weddings and families, I love creating anything pretty, whether that be a floral arrangement, hand-lettered good, or something delicious in my kitchen! I’m so thankful for this little business of mine and being able to create for others. I love each and every client I have the opportunity to work with!
the heart behind
what i do
Serving my clients with an open heart and a smile on my face, I strive to create an exceptional photography experience from a place of love, warmth, and friendship. Growing genuine connections and relationships with my clients ensures each couple has fun and feels comfortable in front of my camera, and allows me to produce photographs and heirloom albums that will be treasured for generations to come.
Sharing in the joy and excitement of two people committing to spending their lives together is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. Even greater, the couples I am blessed to photograph become more than clients; they become dear friends. My clients and I share a passion for natural, timeless photos and the preservation of beautiful memories; I have the privilege of capturing their love stories on their wedding day and beyond. It just doesn’t get better than this!
