Hey y'all! It's been a hot minute since I updated the blog, but such is life! Since I last posted we have had our fair share of bugs (fire ants included-we recently discovered Oliver is allergic!) and sickness in my family and my little one, Oliver, is just getting over the flu for the second time this year :( Kid can't catch a break!

As you may know I gave up social media for lent in my attempts to focus more on my relationship with God and myself. I will share more on this at another time but let's just say it was tough! And to think what He gave up for us and all he endured compared to giving up something so trivial as Facebook and Instagram?! How blessed are we that we have such an amazing and powerful God who would do anything for us!

I was asked by my preacher to create a graphic for our church's marquee. We have the traditional black letters that can be changed out but a few years ago they started printing a graphic to go over that section of the sign. Keeping up with the times folks ;) Any who, I decided to use an image of the cross I decorated with fresh florals from my Easter sessions a few weeks ago at the Livingston Chapel. I love the way it turned out and wanted to share it with you too! Click here to download a copy for your computer or cell phone background. In other news, I've been honored with the opportunity to capture sweet and special memories since Lent started--two newborn sessions, two maternity sessions, a session with a sweet little girl, Easter sessions, and a wedding! I also took some product photos for a local calligrapher--that was fun! I've got a few more sessions on the calendar in the coming weeks, have booked a couple weddings, and have some Spring Minis to schedule!! Hooray! The weather is starting to warm up and my Spring calendar is filling quickly. If you're interested in booking a session anytime soon, let's chat asap!
